Leigh Bishop to brytyjski odkrywca wraków i pionier głębokiego nurkowania na mieszankach gazowych. Uważany jest za jednego z najbardziej utalentowanych nurków wrakowych na świecie. Znakomity fotograf wrakowy. Natomiast jego badania w archiwach doprowadziły do odkrycia i identyfikacji setek wraków. Wziął udział w liczących się ekspedycjach wrakowych i projektach naukowych, które honorowano flagą The Explorers Club.
Leigh wystąpił w wielu filmach dokumentalnych na temat wraków i katastrof morskich. Pracował jako operator kamery dla National Geographic, History Channel, ITV, Channel 4 i innych sieci telewizyjnych na świecie. Jest autorem książek, prelegentem i wykładowcą na temat wraków. Przez ostatnie dwie dekady jego fotografie i artykuły pojawiały się w niezliczonych pismach fachowych, książkach i gazetach. Współzałożyciel i człowiek stojący za pierwotną koncepcją konferencji nurkowej „Eurotek” w Anglii. W ostatnim czasie skupił swoją energię na własnych projektach książkowych.

Leigh Bishop is a British shipwreck explorer and pioneer of deep wreck mixed gas diving and regarded as one of the most accomplished wreck divers in the world. He is a well known deep wreck photographer and his research has led to the discovery and identification of hundreds of shipwrecks.
He has been a member of most significant deep shipwreck expeditions as well as scientific projects that have carried the explorer’s club flag.
Leigh has been featured on many television shipwreck documentaries and worked as a deep-water cameraman for National Geographic, History Channel, ITV, Channel 4 and other global networks. He is a prolific writer, speaker and lectures on the subject of shipwrecks globally.
Over the last two decades his photographs and articles have appeared in countless magazines, books and major newspapers.
He was a co founder and the man behind the original concept of Eurotek. In recent times he has focused his energy on his own forthcoming book projects.
Leigh has been a regular speaker at the festival.
